    Obscure product?

I've done a lot of independent research on B&O ever since I heard about the company. However, it's funny that I'm still running into pictures of some B&O products I've never heard of... (I'm not talking about promo stuff like pens with the B&O logo on it)

That said,.. I was wondering what the most obscure B&O products (or fact) other people have run into.

As an example, one product that got my attention was the DAB version of the Overture... didn't even know what DAB was 'till then!

Peter has a rare and what was a potentially mythical BeoMaster...

I'll let him tell you all about it as he spent a long time chasing one. Smile

Beomaster 4401 - I didn't think this existed until Frede found one - and then he found me another one! I had been looking for one for years! It is mentioned in the 4400 service manual and the black parts are numbered, but no-one had actually confirmed they had one! We had started making a fake one which we were going to see if we could get into the B&O museum when Frede found his one!

The 2300 DAB was actually made as a prototype but was never for sale. Several were 'liberated' before being scrapped. Actually not that great as they have an extra black box for the DAB and you need an Apple Newton to work it! Could this be the reason B&O and Apple don't co-operate now? Laughing

I think the all-black MCP was pretty obscure/rare.  There was a member on here who had one.
