Does the BV8 have a backlit Beo4? It does on the B&O website

 

Yes, it´s the rare Beo4 Cinema

I seriously doubt the BeoVision 8 comes with a backlit Beo4. They are very expensive, and only given out with BeoLiving packages as far as I'm aware...

Beo4 Cinema is not produced anymore

My BV8 comes in 2 weeks wich I shall replace my BC6 with.

I looking in to place it on this stand. What do you think?

Please also note how it is being shown running OSX and with an Apple keyboard and mouse instead of Windows. I doubt it is of any significants but worth noting never the less.

I don't like it. I think the straight lines of BV8 don't match the curves of the stand. But if you like it...

I agree with you but sometimes it is nice to break lines to get more contrast between products

Why has my dealer 20 pieces, that is a lot if there are 200 made, where have you hear this??

According to my info B&O produced in the first run roughly 400-500 and than in a second run an other 150 to 200. That's all, so for sure a 3 digit number were produced.

PS I'm kind of warming to the BV8 now, wasn't initially a fan of it at all.

It doesn't take them long when they're reading Beoworld

Are there any pictures of the Beovision 8 out in the real world yet? And how much do we know about to what level the Beovision 8 is outsourced?

Did somebody noticed that the photographer (or interior designer or whoever) did something amazing with the floor-stand in the newer pictures (these with the kids)? He actually just turned the once ugly thing simply around, so it´s appearance is completly different. Instead of the former design, which simply extended the "lines" of the tv and gave the whole set a somehow unstable and boring look, there is now some kind of a zig-zag design, which i find far more appealing and exciting. Though i doubt, this will work in real -i.e. non-photoshopped- life (because there seems to be a whole in the base for the cabling now facing the viewer), it may inspire future stands...
