Can anybody help.  I have a 1997 Avant 32" VCR model # 8428 and it has  suddenly died! There was no warning and the it is now completely dead.... no standby light, nothing.  Expecting to find a blown fuse so I dismounted the mains distribution unit to check it out.  The fuse is fine.  Can anybody tell me which pins to check to see if this unit is outputting power to the TV (not worried about the VCR as I don't use it any more).  The unit is found at the bottom rear left of the Avant and is about  15cm x 8cm x 5cm and the mains lead plugs directly into it.
