    Will the new BV7-40 software (Sw 4.24) make Beo4 control of the AppleTV possible??

    I have tried different  B&O PUC software (Apple Remote, iPod Remote and a third one) with no luck. I still can't control the AppleTV with the Beo4. A B&O service-man has been working on this x 2 with no luck and with no idea on how to proceed. Could the new BV7-software be the solution? Comments appreciated. Frankly I'm rather tired of this pseudo-issue.

    Hi,

    I don't have an Apple TV. But I read the manual and I remember that you have to unpair the remote control. When the remote control is paired the Apple TV only accepts the control from the remote and not from the PUC. May be this is the mistake.

    @Frank

    Thanx for your advise ... I actually posted a similar question in the general forum and got the same suggestion.

    Howver, I have unpaired it ... and tried a whole bunch of other things as well .... not so easy Sad

    My BV7-40 could control my mac mini with sw 4.17 and since a few days with sw 4.24a.
