    Restringing Overature Door

Can anyone offer any tips on restringing the steel wire on the doors for the overature?

I got the pulll system all worked out but am a little confused on the main gearbox cog.

With the gear wheel cranked all the way to the right, is the top cable wound up or the bottom cable wound up?

Also is the top cable clipped to the top or bottom notch of the cog wheel?

    Thanks,

    Re: Restringing Overature Door

Well so I figured this one out in case anyone comes across this in the future.

    1) Crank cog anticlockwise fully. Insert top wire to bottom notch and place in 2nd inner groove from back of the pulley.

    2) Turn clockwise fully make sure wire wraps around the clog and doesn't jump a groove.

    3) Take lower string and place it around over the top of the cog (2nd groove from front) and secure in the notch.

    4) The last step is trick as the wire is rather taught. Gently push to the right the lower left door slide. This places a bit of tension stretching the heavier spring thus giving you enough wire length to secure the top wire into the notch.

Gently rotate the big gear with fingers to check for proper movement guidance of wire around the cog.
