Beolab 2 - How can I turn it on to use with non B&O equipment

Hello: What can I use to send voltage to pin #4 on the powerlink IN of my Beolab 2 to turn it on, and what is the maximum recommended voltage.

    Thank you.

    Hi John,

this question come up a LOT...in the US, contact your local B&O shop and order part #898127.  $50 + tax & S/H.  Since it is not a part made in DK by B&O, they may have to jump through an extra hoop or two to get it for you, but they're available.  This gives you a dc power supply, and the connectors you need to make it work.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you Russ:

I have ordered the part you suggested.

I have since learned that depending on the component output going into the Beolab 2, an item such as a Niles Audio APC-2 might also be neccessary in addition to the 0898127 to sense that the component has been turned on or off and thereby controlling Beolab 2 appropriately
