    Is HD ITV coming to Sky

    On the Freesat information pages they say that ITV are broadcasting some HD programmes , dose anyone know if this HD output is going to be on Sky ? I'm not into sport so I find HD material a bit thin on the ground on Sky and some additional programmes would be nice .

    I think I read that the Freesat platform has an "exclusive" on ITV HD for six months but it may have been a year. Either way, you should be fine in time for England to be knocked out of the World Cup qualifiers and Andy Murray to win Wimbledon for the second time. - Nick

    Richard,

    Given, Freesat is a joint venture between the BBC and ITV and ITV has to pay Sky a lot of money to host its programmes on Sky, I would expect ITV HD to be exclusive to Freesat for the forseeable future.

    Thanks for the replies , don't think its worth getting another box ect. just to get ITV but depends what HD they put out .
