I think Trip's concern here, while overwrought, might be genuine....
On the other hand, Mr. Robot Clock seems to lacke a certain B&O touch. While I will grant that it certainly offers the 'mechanical magic' which B&O feels is one of it's 'core identifiers', and certainly bears a bit of the JJ touch, I think it is too over-the-top. Therefore it misses out on another of B&O's 'identifiers', essentiality. In other word, much like the concept for the BV-8, the question is 'What must it do, and what might it properly do without?'
