We currently have the following set up: Main room has an Avant with four speakers and sub and a Beosound 3000, Link room 2 has the circular wall mounted ir receiver with volume and on/off and a pair of speakers, link room 3 has a computer and Beoport with speakers. All of the Masterlink connections are in the main room behind the Avant. In Link room 2 there are two powerlink wires coming out of the wall which are then connected two the two speakers. When our new BV7 arrives, I want to move the Avant to Link room 2. My problem is when I touch TV on the Beo 4 in addition to activating the Avant, the ir receiver on the wall will receive the signal and also activate TV through the other two speakers in the room. Is there some sort of Option setting I can use to avoid this problem? Taking it a step further, is there a way I can connect four speakers to the Avant for surround sound but still use the two powerlink wires coming through the wall so that I still have access to netradio/netmusic and the CD player located in the main room? Thanks!

Thanks! The only Masterlink wireing in the link room is in the wall to the ir receiver. The only connections I have access to in the link room are the two powerlink connections for the two speakers. When B and O wired the house we had no intention and no desire to have a TV in the link room. Also, I did not think it was possible to link tvs in the US? Or is it just pictue that can not be sent via Masterlink here in the US?

It seems then that it is not possible to use the two link speakers also as speakers in a surround sound set up, at least not with the present wiring...ie no masterlink connection in the room, just two powerlink and ir receiver on the wall.

What would happen if I connected the power link connections I currently have in the wall to one set of inputs on the speakers and then connected the front speaker out from the Avant to the second powerlink input on the speakers? I understand that they are designed for daisy chaining, but if I activated just the Avant, would the input from the masterlink be off and do nothing and vice versa? I am sure it wont work but thought I would ask in case I am wrong.
