Hello All,

My MX4000 has developed horizontal lines that were faded & unnoticeable at first but now the whole screen is pale, light, high contrast & the lines are more visible.

Can anyone help & tell me what it could be or better still how i can fix it?

Either the tube is fading fast (which seems unlikley) or there is a weakness in the line output transformer/focus unit.
