Nice one, Tom - quite like my current setup here in the wilderness (ha); I have here a Beomaster 900K, S80.2s (not connected, just being restored externally) and a the horns of a Grant's gazelle Laughing

...but I'm afraid if we all start posting wallpapers, the server space used will far outweight any savings gained by the recent deleting of PMs Indifferent

Thanks for the consideration shown about server space! Smile

Once we have CS2008 in place, i am led to understand that server space will then become a non-issue as it archives data much more efficiently. We will also be moving servers too when this happens, which will give us much more space.

Once the new version is up and running we will have video, gallery and i'm sure downloads will feature too.

Re: Bang & Olufsen desktop wallpaper

We are getting final quotes from the software developer, and a bank loan to BeoWorld to pay for it (we are talking thousands of pounds here) has been approved as we are regular 'payers' on our existing loan.

Once we have everything in place, we will proceed to build CS2008 and transfer all data from the old forum (a big task), then we will run it behind the scenes for a month or so to iron out any bugs and issues there may be.

If i had to guess, start thinking about a new look forum early Autumn. If it's sooner than that, it will be a pleasant surprise!

Once we have CS2008 and we're on a new server, we will be on a par with the real big boys!  After that, it's up to the members - we can't possibly provide a better forum or service as we will have the very, very best.  Microsoft use CS2008 for their own forums, as do Lego, Adidas, Honda, Disney and many others. Even MySpace is run with Telligent (creators of Community Server)..

I wasn't aware of the space problem, but I understand it. I removed the attatchment and put a link in the post.

    Tom:

You could use the "insert/edit image" icon and enter the address in the "image URL" box. If you don't know it, right click on any image will give you an option to view/copy the image address/location.
