BeoCord V8000 to Beocenter 6: help needed!

I have recently bought a mint new BeoCord V8000 (from a second-hand) and connected it to my Beocenter 6-26 as V.MEM.

The menu of V8000 should theoretically have the following positions:

    "Timer Record

    Setup

    Camcorder"

Then within Setup it should open as follows:

    "Adjust

    Options

    Marker

    Tuning

    Clock

    Link"

However, in my case when I go into the menu of V8000 (by Menu - V.Mem - Go) I get straight into the Setup Menu which displays only:

    "Options

    Clock

    Link"

Which means that I am not able to make any timer recordings nor to turn on an input interface to record from an external source.

V8000 was obviously not designed to work with Beocenter 6. Could it be that a software update is required? The manual of Beocenter 6 says that if a V8000 is connected then not all functions may be available and the dealer would have an addendum to the V8000 manual to operate with Beocenter 6. However, my dealer has never heard of such an addendum.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Are you using a Beo5 by any chance?

I have put the supplement on site in the V8000 manuals. Not sure how helpful it will be!

Peter, thanks a lot for your prompt help!

The supplement manual indeed answers most questions.
