    Re: Your next purchase?

I think my next purchase will be a beoport and If there was an update to the Beo5 - A way to synchronize playlists - I would buy one of those as well (Maybe some danish sheeps can hint one way or the other....).

    Tom:
I will buy an audio system end of this year to complete my setup. I think it will be a BC2-Audio. I like the BS9000 very much, but somehow I find it to big. I don't like BS4 and BS3200, so the BC2 is my only option. If there will be a BC2-BR, I will of course go for that one!

BeoCenter 2 is also my favourite system from the current range. I wonder whether the BeoSound 5 will have an exciting new design or have a more reserved design like the BeoSound 4 for example.

Same thing as last year, and year before and year before.... : BeoLab 2

Have to choose between: new portable (+docking station+min. 20" screen); new camera kit (Canon Eos 450D + lenses + other photo related stuff) or BeoLab 2

Price of the 3 is more or less the same...

    Re: Your next purchase?

Top on my list is the new Beomaster/sound (what ever....) 5! And, if it might hit the shops any time (or if ever..) a BC2 with Blueray support. That would be a bummer!

I am happy with the rest I have, proud owner of a BV3, BV1 in the bedroom, a BS3 with a Panasonic screen and lab5, BS9000 with lab 3 in the kitchen, a lab2000 for the bathroom....

    Re: Your next purchase?

The BV3 is doing just fine at the moment!!!! I'm not planning on swapping the BV3... A number of reasons:

    1) Don't want to pay extra for High-Def stuff (being offered by Telenet in Belgium)..
    2) Simply don't have the cash laying around for a BeoVision 7-40

So the BV3 with Digicorder and DVD1 are doing just great! :-) Picture still beats every other screen at the moment. And a lot of people still think that I've bought a brandnew flashy flatscreen... and are very surprised when they have a look at the actual tube behind the screen :-) :-)

    1. BeoLab 4000 to be used as rear speakers
    2. Upgrade of BS 9000 with N.MUSIC. I guess it's not a new purchase but quite costly..
    3. BeoPort
    4. I was considering BeoMedia but I should wait for "magic 5"
    5. BeoCom2 to be added to BeoCom 1
    6. Beo5 remote

The next B&O item in my house will be a Beosound 9000 connected to my Stello DAC and Sonus Faber Concerto speakers Smile. The speakers are driven by a Aaron no.3 Millenium poweramp

I've listened to Sonus Faber Concerto speakers in a home theatre setup, the sound was just as huge as the speakers themselves!

    Re: Your next purchase?

I would love to replace my BL8000s, currently they are acting as the front speakers for the BV7, and in my (humble) opinion they are towering over the TV (well, the TV is on the motorised table stand).

So I would love to go for the BL3 for both front & rear, and have a really nice surround system... or maybe BL9 for the front and BL3 for the rear, dunno...

[p.s., finally reached 100 posts, better late than never Wink]

My wife's and my next purchase will probably be a Beovision 7 or 9. We can not decide which one to replace our Avant with.

I have experienced both, and much prefer the BeoVision 9 which i have at home and love to bits.

    The Mk3 BV7-40 is good, but i still haven't seen a B&O LCD that can hold a candle to a B&O Plasma.

Thanks for the input!  I like the 7 and the 4 the best. My wife wants the 9.

    Beovision 7-55 with Beolab 7-4, 9s and 4000s

    Beovision 10-40 with Beolab 1s and 6000s

    Beosound 1, 5, 2000, and 3000

Are you sure? Ca you justify the expense? I've looked at the BV9 and, when watching HD on my BV7-40 MKIII, personally I find the BV7-40 image more realistic. The BV9 looks slightly more washed. Looks like it has a little smoothing applied to the image. However, the BV9 is definitely not a £6000 better TV.

We get a larger living room (45 square meter) so it think the bv 9 will look better

    Re: Your next purchase?

I would easily choose BeoVision 9 over the BeoVision 7 for its design and picture. Yes there's an extra 6 big ones to pay for with a BeoVision 9, but the BeoSystem 3 is so worth it.
