I am still happily working my way through the older stuff! My long term plan is to get a Beosystem and a pair of Pentas, but that is a year or two away yet. The next B&O purcahse will probably be one of the early CD players like the CDX. Simon

My next purchase will be a pair of BL5's but first I need to sell all the rest of my collection which includes, but not limited to, 2 avant's, 3 pair of penta's, pair of lab 5000's, 5 mx tv's, 6500 system, beolink 7000, BS3000, BL4000's, BL3500, plus several pair of beovox speakers, accessories and lots more. Hopefully selling up will fund the major part of the BL5's and all I will be left with is an avant and the speakers linked to a mac mini.

After a long hard think.. there's absolutely nothing i really crave. I'm a bit taken aback as that's the first time in my life i've ever said that! I may be a bit of a special case as i deal in it all day, but i still get excited when it comes in! We bought FOUR BeoSystem 7000's from the Dorchester Hotel in London today and i can't wait to see them. They were in the Suites that the rich and famous stay in... I'd love to ask them some questions! LOL I am rather looking forward to seeing the new '5' though. Maybe i'll start saving! Lee

mr_anders_son:Avant 32 to have in masterbedroom for aprox 650EUR
I would like to have an Avant again, but I've been hearing more and more people saying their Avant has died and that it's irreparable. Darren, it's painful considering BeoLab 5s isn't it?

You know something we dont? Same as Darren, nothing catches my eye other than the 5s and I will own a pair one day. I fancied the 1s for a while... but prefer the look of the 8000s and I am "content" with what I have. that said, 5s are the end goal! paired with a BV5.

Mr_anders_son...,
You have a PM... As you know, my last and next purchase is a BV9. It should be delivered in June. Yann

My next purchase is Beovox MC120.2 refoamed bass units. To go with the white mint cabinets.
Beocenter 1, Beosound 1 and high hopes for more to come.

Hopefully a Beosound 2, and if we move to the flat we have our eye on, a Beomaster 900 RG Compact if I can find one for the collection :)

Same here. If something, then Beomaster/Beosound5. I had to move my BS1 to the closet since I dont have any use for it now that I am in my new apartment. JK

My wife's and my next purchase will probably be a Beovision 7 or 9. We can not decide which one to replace our Avant with.
Beovision 7-55 with Beolab 7-4, 9s and 4000s
Beovision 10-40 with Beolab 1s and 6000s
Beosound 1, 5, 2000, and 3000
Beotime, Beotalk, Beocoms

A Beo5 when the user software is available. A Serene when the Samsung logo is gone.

I have experienced both, and much prefer the BeoVision 9 which i have at home and love to bits. The Mk3 BV7-40 is good, but i still haven't seen a B&O LCD that can hold a candle to a B&O Plasma. Lee

They are not longer planning to produce a Consumer version software for Beo5... all dealer programmable... and dealers are strictly forbidden on giving out the tool because they require dealer log in info for the tool to update every time you open it. You can use it off-line but that does not good really because it doesn't get updated with new products.

Great thread Henry. I'd love to say Beolab 5s, but I think that will be some time yet. I think the next major purchase will be either Beosound 9000, I've been leaning towards this for ages. I'd love to see N Radio or N Music on my Penta displays. Or What my Beolab 5000 amp is crying out for, a Beogram 3000 Thorens (preferably) or Acoustical. Andy T.
