    like you know, there's no solution for the reparation of old cd player, so my question was there is yes or no a need for this?

    In the case of the old Beocentre's say 9000,9500 etc,I think there could be a demand for a replacement cd mechanism,as the unit is still attractive and useful.

    Of course,any replacement unit would need to communicate with the system microprocessor,so some sort of interface would have to be incorporated.

    I suspect an understanding of Philips datacomms would be essential.

    Any help?
