Beogram 1202 - Automatic arm question

    Hello Folks,

My first post here so be gentle with me!

I recently bought a faulty Beogram 1202 (very cheaply) with the intention of fixing it up. I've solved most of it's issues - including making a new belt for it from some 3mm Nitrile Rubber O-Ring Cord! It's now running very well and sounding great.

My only problem is that the tone arm doesn't quite hit the starter groove when I press the Lift button to start the play sequence. Also (part of the same problem I'd guess) the arm returns a little early at the end of a record.

I would imagine it's a simple tweak here or there to make the adjustment, but I thought I would consult the experts here before I do it by trail and error!

    Thanks in advance.

Hopefully as my B&O collection (mostly vintage) grows I shall frequent these shores more often.

    Luke.

The full service manual is on site though you will need to joinh as at least a silver member to download it. However here is the instructions for the set down.

Thank you for that Peter. Very good of you.

I shall give it a try later.

    Hello,

I have same problem with a BG1202, the pickup seems to set down abit to early. Have read the servicemanual but is abit confused, better be safe then sorry, do I access the eccentrik A and B from bottom or from top (via removal of platter)?

Have only "worked" with BG7000 prior and that had abit more "straightforward servicemode" :)

    Thanx
