The reason I asked about the Samsung panel is we found a 46 inch Samsung we really like. The BV7 is just a little small for our room, we think. It would work,  but we think something larger would be better. The BV9 and BV4-50 are a little big for the wall we will be locating the TV on. We sit between 10 and 12 feet from the TV.

We like the BV7 the best of any of the B and O TVs  

What is a Panasonic Commercial panel? Where does one buy them? Are they available at retail electronic stores?

What functions does one lose by using one rather than a BV4, other than the automatic color management.?

Have you thought about placing the TV closer to your seating position? The BeoVision 7 is great at 'freestanding', especially with the BeoLab 7-4 underneath it.

We can't place the TV any closer to the seating position. The room was wired for B and O when we built the house so all of the speakers need to stay where they are, and thus the TV needs to stay in one spot also. Given the layout of the room and the furniture, it also can not be moved closer. Right now the seating positions are between 10 and 12 feet from the TV.
