    Beogram 1602 Turntable relocation

Good Day.  I'm new here and hoping to get some advice.  I'm wanting to place my 1602 turntable on a wall mount.  If placed where I would like the turntable to be there's a good possibility that my interconnect cord may not reach my amp.  And realizing I believe that the interconnect cord is hard wired(?) that simply replacing it by me is not a good idea.  So I'm wondering if there is a trusted source out there that would be recommended to replace my cord, or if there is an extension to add to it that is of high quality and high recommendation, for I know that one, any length added can diminish performance, and two, a second, additonal cord would further diminish the performance.  I'm looking to add at the most two feet.  Any input would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you,  tomo

In the past I have used extension leads like you mention with drop in sound quality. Also it is the easiest way of doing what you need.
