Is this BV 7-40 Mark I or II?

Type 9351 is Mark 1

Yes,

it is a Mark I, one of the later ones though.

If you are looking for a Mark II, search for type numbers 936x and above.

There is a major difference between mk II and III, but I would rather focus on the "milage", the overall condition and the price if I had to choose between mk I and II. I find it hard to tell them apart... and I used both the mk I and II before I moved to plasma.
