do you know how to activate the MMS?  My Serene, in North America on AT&T network, says MMS is not available???

Where is this option on your Serene?

Regarding the AOL ims, im forwarding needs to be activated on AOL. It does not allow me to initiate an im to an AOL user but an AOL user can im me and I can then reply.

As for the MMS, I also have AT&T, originally Cingular. I also received the message  MMS not available. After having the phone several months with no MMS ability, I spent several hours trying to get the settings correct so that MMS was available. I finally realized that I needed to go into settings, and then go into connection settings and create two "profiles", one is named Cingular and one is named Cingular MMS. There are different settings for each. Once I did that, MMS worked.

yes, please.  I would appreciate more info on the settings.  I called AT&T and received the proper information (I believe), but have yet to experience a successful MMS.

Re: AOL ims.......I have played around with the ims some more. When the im is received by the Serene, a 6 digit number appears. Entering this number as the address will send an im to the AOL screen name. It thus appears that ims can be initated on the Serene with AOL by after one has received an im from the other person and knows the 6 digit number to enter as their address rather than their screen name.
