    Thinking about buying a Beovision 5 HD-Ready - Type number difference 8948 & 8913

    Hi

I have finally decided to buy a BV5 HD-ready and then move the 32" Avant to the kitchen.

I know that many would tell me to buy the BV7-40 HD, but I really like the design of the BV5 and the size of the BV5 is also a factor here.

I have two on hand but what is the difference from the two type numbers. Is it only the country code or is it also colour code, SW version etc that depends on the type numbers?

    BV5 HD ready Type 8948 SW ?

    BV5 HD ready Type 8913 SW 16.2

I live in Denmark and hope it would be possible to use one of these type numbers

Is there any one of the latest BV5-HD ready made with HDMI connection or are all of them only with 1 DVI connection?

    Thanks

    Anders

    Regards Anders

How about about the BeoVision 9.

It comes with 4 HDMI slots as well as component.

ALL BV5 are not equipped with HDMI.

    Hi Henrik

    Thanks for your reply Smile

But sadly it's not possible to raise the money for a BV9 right now not matter how much I would like it Unsure, that’s why I'm looking after a BV5 (which I think is a pretty damn god looking design if you ask me)

I’m thinking about in the future to get the BV5 hooked up with a DVD2, and use HDMI ~ DVI adaptor cable

Mr.Anders son:> Thanks for the info Yes - thumbs up

    Hi

Old topic but I'm looking at one more BV5 but this time I want a HD-ready model (The one I have today is a Type 8903, item nr. 1803xxx, se nr.1616xxxx)

    typenr (8909) item nr (1803880) serie nr(15906847).

The ad says Bevision 5 HD-ready!

But I don't think it is a HD-ready BV5, but maybe someone know if it's possible to upgrade this BV5 to HD-ready with the upgrade kit?

    Thanks

    Regards Anders
