    Is a VCR Avant RF compatible with it and how may I connect it, since i have a STB and DVD1 attached :S

    Yes connect it with Svhs on the back of the display on the AVANT, you also have to connect a Ir eye to BM1.

    Thanks mate.

    How would it then react on a beo4, under V.AUX? Because my avant is a vcr and my ouverture has a tape :S

    The BeoMedia can be set to respond to either V.AUX or PC. You can change this by going into the menus (RED, 9).

    Hi My first time on a forum, so please bear with me.

    I have a late Avant DVD and have been trying to get a Beomedia 1 to work with it, and even adding the IR sensor neither my BEO4 or BEO5 work with it, even in PC mode on the BEO4 (can't work out how to configure the BEO5 that much!). I get the menu on the screen through my SVHS cable but no movement within the menu.

    Any thoughts gratefully received.
