    Motor stand for MX7000

Could anyone tell me if it is possible to use a motor stand MS 4106 on my MX 7000 TV or does some one have a stand for a MX7000 who could photograph the adaption plate so I could fabricate a new one ?

The MS 4106 looks identical to the MX 7000 unit but the fixings to the TV will be different.

    Thanks

    Jack

Jack, I believe the motor unit is the same on all MX, LX, LS and L models. It is just the plate that is different. They all seem to have the same connection for the motor.

Slight correction ... the MX8000 and MX4200 stands operate differently and there seems to be a compatability issue with some MX5000 stands.

    Thanks Craig

The motor stand does work with the MX7000 I just need details for the adaption plate.

Thanks for your reply, the stand I have is off a LS5500 , a photo would allow me to see where the screw connections are located.

    Thanks again

no problem jack, the 4 raised holes on the edges fit the tv and the 6 small holes in the centre fit the motor,

hope this is what your after, or as craig said im sure Nobby should have one if you need one

    regards jason

    Thanks Jason

The photo is a great help, I have a MX7000 TV. Could you measure the overall width and length if the plate and the measurement from the turntable centre to the front edge of the plate.

The centre distances of the mounting holes would be very useful.

    Thanks for all your help

No need to measure, this is the correct one for the 28inch MX

I did not realise that you were "Nobby" perhaps I should read my mail with more care.

I assume that you do not have plate for sale?

If not the dimensions would allow me to esimate the Centre of gravity of the TV

    Thanks again

    Hi Jack,

Yes, one and the same :o)

I didnt find a plate yet only a complete motorised floor stand and it would be criminal to break it up.  I have a few more sources to try.

Thanks for your reply, I would be interested in buying the whole unit if you cannot locate a replacement mounting plate.

Perhaps you would want my existing unit ?

    Hi,

I usually retail these at £70.  Can take yours off your hands, but to be honest, unless you are going to collect, it could start to get expensive with the postage.

You might be better off waiting for one to come up on ebay.

    Cheers, Neil
