A Perfect Bank Holiday Night In....So what you all upto????

    Yeeeee Hayyyyaaaaaaaa we're off tomorrow......................

    What you all upto????

Just popped a nice cold bottle of Bud, sitting listening to Armin Van Buuren ....................

My old 80's Beocenter 9000 and Penta's really work well.

Perhaps for another thread, but I so don't "do" the newer stuff.

Much prefer my "boy's room" with the 48" flat panel screen, Beocenter, Penta's, Mr. Van Buuren................

    Anyways.... what you all upto???????????????????

Funny, this to find this thread. I just watched snooker and was wondering if tomorrow was a bank holiday in GB, because the last 2 sessions of the final are always played on the first monday in may. Now you know what I was doing (and I have to work tomorrow), what holiday is tomorrow, what are you/ should you be celebrating?

We don't celebrate "May Day" (or Labour Day or whatever) on the 1st of May, which seems common throughout the rest of Europe; we have it on the first Monday of the month, i.e. tomorrowBig Smile

Got my Bm8000 back from Dillen on friday for the final time. Now it its time to enjoy the Beolab 8000 system which has the BG8002 and Cdx and a pair of Beovox M150 plugged into the Beomaster 8000 for the first time since I got it. The terminal and BC9000 was dropped of at Dillen for repairs.

I've been enjoying the wonderful sunshine. I also bought presents for the birthdays of my mother, my brother and a friend.

Beoworld's twenty-eighth ninth prize winner and fifty-first second prize winner. Best £30 I've ever spent!

Well today I finally got to go to the National Motorcycle Museum . Somehere I have been meaning to go for a long time, but just never got there. Worst part is it is located about 30 mins away from my house, not like its even far away. Laughing Well worth waiting for though as it was a fantastic day out.

Re: A Perfect Bank Holiday Night In....So what you all upto????

Well, i had a text at 7am this morning to say my best friend had become a father at 3.16am to a little baby girl !  I jumped in the car with my own two children (via Clinton Cards and the local Jewellers for a lovely pewter money box gift) and drove up to Chelsea (London) to see little 'Katie Charlotte' along with 'Mum' and 'Dad' !!

We all had a lovely pub lunch afterwards overlooking the Thames (minus 'Mum' and baby of course) and i've only just got back. Mostly motorway driving all the way home, and a warm summers evening has ensured the front my car is absolutely peppered with deceased insects, Gah - i only had it washed yesterday!!

Still, a lovely Bank Holiday weekend - great fun, and good news!

    Hi Toby,

Just inquisitive - you are a helicopter pilot currently working for the police? If so when on duty but nothing happening to you fly still or do you wait around until something happens. I guess it's good that nothings happening and everyone is behaving themselves!

Sounds like a fun job though.
