    Got me my first digital SLR today and this was a arty shot i took with it

    i cant upload the pic, its to big 4mb and i dont know how to reduce the size on my mac.

    Ok.  Open the picture in photoshop.  Then at the top menu click "image" and from there go to "image size".  Make sure "constrain proportions" is checked.  Then for width type in a number like 1600 (pixels).  Then save the picture as a jpeg file.  From there you can upload pictures to photobucket.com, and post the links here on the forum.

    Start in iPhoto.  Check the 'Share' menu first, and if that doen't get you what you want go to the 'File' menu and click 'export'.

    well its a SONY A350 cheap thingy from currys, just got it for my trip to mauritius this weekend.
