    Beovox RL 1000 speaker frets

As a newbie excuse me if this question has already been answered...

I recently bought a pair of ex-showroom RL1000 speakers which have slightly damaged covers (I believe B&O call these frets).

Does anyone know where I can get replacements or the best method of repair as B&O tell me these are no longer available?

    Many thanks in advance

    Hi and welcome to Beoworld.

The cloth is actually glued to the speaker fronts so replacements aren't available as it would mean replacing most of the speaker cabinet!. The cloth pulls off easily enough and reclothing is possible with a few pointers (lots of screws for starters). Just ask if you decide to proceed.

    Chris.

The use of metaphors should be avoided like the plague. They're like a red rag to a bull to me.

Hi, thanks for the rapid response.

I think I'll have a cup of coffee before I proceed Smile

Firstly I guess I will have to locate the suitable material though...

    Best regards
