    Trip to Struer

I do think that all of us, Beo fans & owners thought of going to Struer, i find this idea just like going to paradise.

So, i must ask, can beoworld with beo arrange such trip ? i'm aware of the struer 2007 trip.

    I wonder...

Who would like to go ?

They have only been back less than a week!Laughing However I am sure that it may well become a regular event. I think they may need a little time to recover though. The Happy Penguin may have to stock up again as well.

I for one wouldn't mind if it became an annual event. Big Smile

I guess we'll have to wait till next year, but i'd find it rather fancy though.

Annual trip to Beo. let's say ... in 2008.

But Peter can u tell me a little bit how it was, i've read some threads of course but i'd like to know the procedures, like who's paying .. where do we all would meet ... that sort of things.

    TIA.

Hi Pedro. I was one of the lucky ones who went last week Big Smile
We found our own way there and paid for our own hotel. There were 27 of us and most of us stayed in The Grand Hotel in Struer.

Lee negotiated a discount for us  (Nice one Lee) but B&O provided transport and food and drinks (nice one B&O)

I think a lot of us are hoping to meet up again next year so watch this space!!

    Re: Trip to Struer

I think it might also be worth mentioning we were invited to come...... I don't think we should assume we can just turn up every year.

Whatever happens I'm sure we will arrange a get together next year or maybe sooner?

you tooooo!! And I mean what I write!!

I'm perfectly aware tha the trip to Streuer was quite exclusive; my intention was not an amusement trip or what so ever but just tried to figure out if it would be possible for me to go possible in a new trip if it comes a reality, of course.

Like in other businesses such trips must have their own agenda and the intended audience must be retailers, hi tech pros or something alike; i consider myself just a guy who happens to be an owner, fan & 'word spreader' if i might call it like this.

So i'll take a possible trip to Streuer like a serious matter.

By the way, you, has beworld moderators could, let's say, make some workshops.

Always trying to spread the word as a goal.

    Re: Trip to Struer

The trip wasn't exclusive it was for all those who could make the journey and be there.

The only point we are trying to make is that the trip was a special invitation to Beoworld members (not especially Moderators or anyone in particular). Let's just not get our hopes up that it will be repeated.

Of course should the invitation be made again I don't think we would refuse, but suspect the uptake might be even higher!

In the meantime as Andy says we were already talking about us as Beoworlders getting together socialy and of course with a bit of B&O thrown in for good measure.

I think that it's also worth mention that the Museum in Struer (which will have a very impressive B&O section) will be opening in the Autumn so if you want to make a trip to Struer that would seem to be well worthwhile.

What sort of workshops are you suggesting?
