My 2000 is not working....... plugged in and all I get is a faint buzzing sound, no dial tone.

6000 works ok so I am wondering if I have bought a non UK com 2000? how can I confirm this as there are no stickers on the base of the phone and none on the box? I bought the phone from a UK dealer assuming it was UK spec but I think this maybe a EU model?

I am very surprised that the phone does not have any stickers if you brought it in the UK.

The UK type number for a Beocom 2000 is 6967

There was a Beocom 2000 HST which was only sold in Northern Europe.

I would take it back to your dealer as it is not working.

I will check the phone to be sure... but I have a feeling that I have the EU version.. not happy.  Sadly, the phone was bought of fleabay some years ago from a dealer and I never checked until recently.

 

What type of phone connector does it have at the end of the cable, just wires or a plug ? If it is a plug, what type of plug ?
