BeoSideOfLife: Quite a surprice to find that it is so rare...
Lee, do you know how many were made? Was it a part of the bs7000? I thought that the MCP line was replace by the bl7000...
What would be the retail on one of these?
B&O have never released production figures I'm afaraid but there were definately not manay of these made that's for sure.
The BS7000 was originally designed to be used with the MCP6500 until the release of the Beolink 7000. This black MCP that you're talking about was produced solely for the black BS7000 although it is only a cosmetic change from the MCP5500 & 6500.
I would have no idea as to the value of this as its rarity will definatley put it way beyond normal MCP prices of around £80 - £120. As with all things it will be worth as much as someone is willing to pay - impossible to say.
Chris.
