My client has a Mac desktop (can't remember the model, but it is about 6 months old), BeoPort with current BMLink software, and BeoSound 4 (plus a couple of link rooms). For some reason, when she switches to listen to computer audio from websites, it locks her BeoPort music down after a couple of minutes, then you have to reset the system. Also, BS4 must be running before she can activate NMUSIC. I am used to
being able to start NMUSIC from a link room with BS4 in standby. All the BS4 sources work well throughout the system, but as soon as you try to use the Mac, problems. I switched out the BeoPort; no change. I checked all the links and junction boxes.
I am completely frustrated as I have never had this type of problem, and with a number of Apple/BeoPort systems. Any ideas?
Also, what would you recommend as the correct Apple product to bypass BeoPort in a link system and still use Beo4? I would rather buy her a product than continue like this. She already has Airport Express. Embarrasing.
