Puncher: I refuse to be drawn by your, loosely veiled, PDB-style rabble-rousing tactics!
Do you think they could be related?

They certainly look alike

Nah - one of them is a rusty old has been with a wound up spring for a heart - the other one's a robot Chris.
The use of metaphors should be avoided like the plague. They're like a red rag to a bull to me.

I've learnt a trick or two off our PrizeDrawBot, that's for sure.. Back in a sec, there's a huge Limo with blacked out windows just pulled up outside the BeoWorld Offices.. Hang on.. Who's this knocking on my door ?

Peter and Lee, there's a double act that rolls back the years..... Simon Keith Saunders: Dear Lee, Fellow Moderators and Beoworld Members, I am very flattered by your vote and I thank you all. As Andy says the "Square Donut Theory" has its place, even in the world of solving B&O issues. I also wish to offer my congratulations to all the winners and a particular vote of thanks to Andy's Stories with associated pictures, they are excellent and a great read. For those who do not know what the "Square Donut Theory" means, I will leave it to Andy to explain. We must all put our hands together and sincerely thank Peter & Lee who excluded themselves from this award process, but without whom this site and event could not have happened. Again, thank you and I look forward to another successful year for Beoworld.

And Finally.. El Gordo.. The Big One... The Jackpot.. The Oscar.. The Bafta.. The BeoWorld Knighthood..
Its.. BEOWORLD MEMBER OF THE YEAR 2008 !!!!! BeoWorld asked you.. This
Special Award is for the person who has embodied the spirit of BeoWorld
over the last 12 Months. Think of why you come on BeoWorld, why you
like it, then think of what it is that makes it so unique amongst all
the other sites on the internet. Then, think of the member you feel has
done the most to make the site like this.
You did indeed vote in huge numbers (Lee just showed me the
vote counts too!!) and there is a deserving winner indeed. This person has
tirelessly given time, enthusiasm and dedication to making the site a
fun, interesting and informative place to be - and without this person
there would be a huge void! No, sorry - it's not me, i'm not allowed to
enter..
So, without further ado - I can reveal that the BeoWorld Member of the Year 2008 is..

Andy, all I can say on behalf of BeoWorld is Thank You
for your boundless enthusiasm, wit and charm and also the amount of
time you put into the site. Just because i do the Prize Draw doesn't
mean i don't follow the Forums you know! Please try a little less hard over the coming year, i do hate competition.
However, you help others freely
and will always lend an ear if someone is in trouble, even if you don't
know the answer. That indeed embodies the spirit of BeoWorld, and you
are indeed a worthy winner. Congratulations from Mr & Mrs PrizeDrawBot, and of course every single BeoWorld Member !!!
There are actually real awards for these
honours which are currently being engraved! All winners will receive
them shortly - and Lee expects pictures when they do! PrizeDrawBot

Thoroughly deserved Andy. PDB has said it all really, you make this site a far more joyous place to visit with your presence and I for one cannot think of a more deserving recipient. And you're a top bloke as well. Chris.
