Here we are - the Results of the BeoWorld 2008 Awards!

Over the next few posts, I will be revealing the people that were voted BeoWorld's most valuable members of the first year since our relaunch - and we have four categories to cover..

1 - Most Helpful Member

Isthere a certain member that always offers to help and is happy tobeaver away behind the scenes to resolve a problem for just aboutanybody at any time? Has he or she helped you solve an issue once or more than once?  You voted a winner!

2 - Most Entertaining Member

Isthere a member who always cracks you up laughing and spreads humouracross the site?  Has he or she got wit sharper than a sushi chefs bestknife, or does that person just have a totally left-field view ofeverything that makes you chuckle. You voted for him!

3 - Most Valuable Contributor 

Whoin your opinion over the last 12 months has added real quality to thediscussions on BeoWorld with their knowledge and wisdom. Do you alwayslook at this persons posts with great interest because you know it willcontain fascinating facts or a seriously well informed opinion?  You came up with a winner!

BeoWorld Member of the Year 

ThisSpecial Award is for the person who has embodied the spirit of BeoWorldover the last 12 Months. Think of why you come on BeoWorld, why youlike it, then think of what it is that makes it so unique amongst allthe other sites on the internet. Then, think of the member you feel hasdone the most to make the site like this. You voted in great numbers, and we have a winner..

Rarely a day goes by without Keith trying to solve problems and issues for people - and we very rarely get to hear about it as he prefers to do his problem solving 'behind the scenes'  However, this obviously does not go unrecognised as he received a huge amount of votes!

Congratulations to you Keith, and thank you for all the help, advice and support you have given us all over the last 12 Months - you're a BeoWorld Star!

 

 

 

 

And I cannot think of a more deserving recipient.

Looking at the selection criteria I think soundproof was definately the rightful winner here,

 But thanks for the mention Lee, I'm not too proud to bask in someone elses glory.

Dear Lee, Fellow Moderators and Beoworld Members,

I am very flattered by your vote and I thank you all. As Andy says the "Square Donut Theory" has its place, even in the world of solving B&O issues.

I also wish to offer my congratulations to all the winners and a particular vote of thanks to Andy's Stories with associated pictures, they are excellent and a great read.

For those who do not know what the "Square Donut Theory" means, I will leave it to Andy to explain.

We must all put our hands together and sincerely thank Peter & Lee who excluded themselves from this award process, but without whom this site and event could not have happened.

Again, thank you and I look forward to another successful year for Beoworld.
