    DVB-T - Beovision 6

    Hi,

Does anybody know if the DVB-T module for the BV6 is coming out this month? I've been waiting for months (since Nov 06 I think), everytime I ask I get "it's been delayed". But isn't it (basically) the same as is currently found in the BV9? I assume that works fine, so what's the problem?

The analgue signal in my area gets turned off in 2011 (I think), any chance of seeing the module before then?

Which BV6 do you have? You do know it does not fit the 22" model? It is not quite the same as the one in the BS3 and I am afraid it has been delayed again! Promised for beginning of June from what I have been told. For some reason it is only the UK market version that is having problems. It is also rather expensive....

    It's OK Peter, I have a 26".

Given the use/advertising over digital TV in the UK, and that flak that B&O will take when the BV8 launches without it (plus not even an option), If I was Mr B&O I would put everything I can in to getting it sorted - It is almost suicidal commercial behaviour.

I agree. Also the cost will to an extent be swallowed up in the purchase price whereas it seems a bit pricey compared to a STB. I must confess to being a Sky user and of course the DVB-S available in other countries does not work with Sky. I have a feeling the problem at present lies with the Top up TV card which will be part of the package options. I think they are just making sure it all works perfectly before releasing it.

It was my understanding that Top Up TV no longer issued cards to new subscribers, having now launched the Anytime service which requires a (new) dedicated PVR.

Possibly the reason for the delay?
