    BeoLab 6000 wall bracket

With the new wall bracket for the BeoLab 6000 loudspeaker, sound has been given a whole new dimension.

The BeoLab 6000 wall bracket allows you to mount the loudspeaker on a wall, opening up new possibilities for placement in the home.

The wall bracket is comprised of two parts: an oval ring onto which the loudspeaker is mounted, and an l-shaped bracket that connects the ring and loudspeaker to the wall. The ring and bracket are made of pearl-blasted aluminium, and on the ring is a front plate made of brushed aluminium.

The bracket allows you to mount the BeoLab 6000 on the wall in a vertical position. The Power Link and mains cables are led neatly and invisibly from the base of the loudspeaker through the bottom section of the bracket.

    Questions and answers

What colours are available for the BeoLab 6000 wall bracket?

The wall bracket is only available in one colour, aluminium, to provide an aesthetically pleasing contrast to the BeoLab 6000 colours.

    They look simply fantastic!!

I wonder is sales for the 6000s will go up as a result? and I doubt they will be getting pulled anytime soon now..

I really like the look with this.  It reminds me of the BL8000 wall mount seen before on the old forum.  I liked it too, but this one looks better IMO.  NOw if I could only mount them horizontiallyConfused

Is this a new version of the BL6000?, or can you remove the circular base from older models in order to fit the brackets?

For new and old - the base on the bottom is held  on by 4 small screws iirc so I would imagine you simply fix to the wall bracket as you would the base plate.

I just hope the wall bracket won't leave scratches to the speaker, so that you can but it back on it's "regular" base if you want to

    Re: Lab 6000 Wall Brackets!

Frankly speaking, I don't understand everybody's excitement about this option of placing BL6000 on the wall. At the end BL6000 is designed a floor stand speaker and I can imagine only very few situations where making it hang on the wall would improve the room set-up.

    Re: Lab 6000 Wall Brackets!

if you can lift the speakers by +/- 15 cm by mounting them on the wall, the sound from the 6000s can be improved if they are used as rears, as the woofers are not in the upper half of the column, but in the middle. This can help you if your sitting position is, as on most sofas, quite low and it's back a little higher. In this case, the wall brackets can really be of some use. On the other hand, some people might prefer the "new look" of the 6000s

It was not this version, I believe it was from a B&O store in NY maybe??  The brackets were very similar to the ones for the BL6000, in that they were not upside down as in your photo.  I had heard of installations where 8000's were mounted/bolted to a floor having the appearance of balancing on it's point.  That would be a unique look
