    I'm off to Edinburgh for the weekend (back Sunday evening).

    Does it represent someone who believes a map of the world is needed to travel from Durham to Edinburgh?

    a giant broad-view GPS of our globe for airplanes ? or lost car-driving-school-students on  their first trip on the road ?........Hmm

    or perhaps a map of the world with a zoom-in function, with wich you can locate every B&O owner all over the world.......Smile

    Too easy Puncher - it's a world map with colours indicating most likely fatal attacks by varying animals.

    BLUE = Shark attack.

    RED = Polar Bear attack.

    WHITE = Penguin attack.

    YELLOW = Camel or Australian bar man attack.

    GREEN = Lion, Tiger, Hippo, Crocodile, Elephant, Alligator, Jaguar, Llama, Bear, Kangaroo or Duck billed Platypus attack.

    What do I win?Gift

    I can't belive none of you have got this, it's so easy!

    Yes, it's a world map, but the colours are of little significance. It's the white dots!
    A white dot signifies a town where---

    A.  There is a Bang and Olufsen outlet
         and
    B.  a Shetland Times reader (online)
         and
    C.  a driving test center
         and
    D.  a thriving Spanish-speaking community
         and
    E.  a Black and Decker outlet
         and
    F.  a Celtic Fiddle club.

    How did you not all get that??

    Poor me, never win owt!

    Re: Quiz (No prize)!

    Competition closed.

    Firstly I'd like to say that I'm very disappointed at the turn-out and the standard of the answersAngry, I'm sure a full weekend of extensive research and study could have rewarded diligence with a correct entry (as it is, diligence didn't even enter)Sad jandyt, who had a significant headstart, failed completely even though I told him he knew the answer.

    From the pitiful entries I recieved I would say the closest was Medogsfat - close but no cigar!!

    The correct answer was, of course, The Mean Annual Albedo of the earth's surface. I'll pitch the next one at Primary School levelStick out tongueLaughingLaughing

    I knew that, just thought it was little obvious to be the correct answer!

    Your feeble attempt to sully my name, just hours before the awards ceremony, are completely futile! Wink
