    BEOLAB COMPATIBILITY

    Hi All

Just thought i would join your great forum as i stumbled over a mint pair of Beolab 3000's for less than $200, i know that is an awasome dela but dont know much about this speaker other than it's look, which i love!!!!

It says that it is active but would you be able to run it with a beosound system? Ouverture, century or any in the 3000's series?

The only statement i found on this speaker was that it wasn't active compared to how beolab 6000/8000 is!!!

    Thanks

    Re: BEOLAB COMPATIBILITY

    Hi Adam.Welcome to Beoworld!
If the speakers are called Beolab 3000, they are active and have a built in aplifier, and if you got them for that price, you are a very lucky man. Without the anplifier and display, they would be called Beovox 3000.
Beolab 3000 will go with an Ouverture and the Beosound 3000 but not sure about the Century. I don't think it has any speaker connections.

Ohh yeah Century is the all-in-one system, was thinking Ouverture/4000 - two different names for the same system depending on where you are in the world.

    Perfect, thanks for the assistance
