Re: Help needed for Beolab 5000

The amp on 1 side of my Beolab 5000 is giving problem. The other is fine.

    1) Connected to the BC9300 thru powerlink, when the side switch is push to audio, a pop sound can be heard from the speaker, source display comes on showing there is signal thru, however no sound is heard. Switching powerlink cables yield no result either.

    2) Now using the 4-pin speakerlink cables, no pop sound, no display comes on.

Anyone can advise on this problem and propose a solution? Currently running passive due to the above Sad, please render me your help.

Did you try changing or toggling the L and R switches? There is a line in or N on my 4500's which I also tested mine with.

Did you check the low Ohm resistors?
