    Blinking Standby Light on an Avant

    The light on my BeoVision Avant is blinking when the system is in standby. Everything seems to function fine otherwise. I've put the system through its paces and cannot find anything else out of the ordinary.

    Any ideas?

    If it's a Avant VCR then remove the tape cassette Smile

    It is not. It is just a regular old Avant. No tape, no DVD.

    This happened once to me, too. No apparent reason. Switched off the set with the main switch and unplugged it from the mains for 30 sec and the stanby-light returned to 'normal'.
