I have just managed to aquire a good exaple of a BG8002.

Now I know that this deck does not have an internal RIAA amp, so the question is, what do I need to do so I can get this unit to work and play through say a current BC2. What RIAA amp and cables are required etc...

Any help is apreciated.

I would get one of the cheaper Gram Slee RIAAs. You will need a 5pin DIN to phono converter but the BC2 takes phono plugs. Not sure what you do with the earth from  the DIN plug.
