    Beogram 1202 arm lift solenoid

Hi, the arm lift solenoid of my Beogram 1202 sometimes sticks and only resets when I turn the mains off then on. Are these solenoids able to be serviced or can I obtain a replacement from anywhere? Thanks Richard

Looking at the service manual, it would seem to be able to come apart. I wonder if the spring is just old? It may just require cleaning if it works some of the time. I think Dillen is your man here - he may be able to supply the relay or suggest a fix.

Re: Beogram 1202 arm lift solenoid

Sometimes, the Beogram keeps playing even if lift is pressed, only the lamp lights up. This is very common to see, also in the Beogram 3000. It's a fault per construction and is not something a replacement "solenoid" will fix. The only solution is to lift the tonearm manually and set it down at the end of the record. It will then lift, park and stop automatically.
