Hi:

 

I was wondering if anyone has bought and used any of these (you know the glasses shaped things that are supposed to connect to a video source and fool your eyes into thinking you are viewing a 50'' screen). I was looking into getting some. However, the ones that have been reviewed on Amazon are less than impressive and the others being sold have not been reviewed at all.

 

I really do not want to make a mistake and buy a heap of junk. That said I don't want to invest a lot of money in them, it is just a whim really.

Haven't tried any, but heard good things about the MyVu.  I remember seeing a site that compared about 10 different ones together, and they thought the MyVu was one of the better ones even though it was one of the cheaper ones.  It's not supposed to be like a 50" screen though.  I think it's supposed to be more like a 30".
