Can I operate a BeoGram 5005 through my BeoCenter 9000 with the BeoLink 1000?

I'm looking for a compatible turntable with remote capability through the BL1000.

Any suggestions?

This combination will work fine. The 5005 is only a Beogram 9000 with cosmetic changes like the number and the colour of the bed.

Yes it will.

Other models which will work and give you remote control include:-

Beogram 3000 (tangential model) 3300, 5500, 1800, 2000 , 9000 (obviously) 8500 & 9500 (1980's models) - non of these have the inbuilt RIAA which is already fitted in the Beocenter 9000.

Thanks!  That's great - those are the ones I've been looking out for.  I just (today) bought a BG5000 with an MMC2 - I'm hoping the cartridge is in decent shape as I just spend a chunk of change on a cartridge for my BG4002.
