    beovox s60

I am very new to the B&o culture so go easy. i bought a pair of good condition beovox s60's from a garage sale, and i think they sound wonderfull on my mcintosh amp. I would like to put together an all original system around these speakers. Does anyone know what specific amps, cables, turntables ect.. were marketed along side these? thanks in advance.

Lovely speakers! The B&O system to go with this would be the Beomaster 4000, Beogram 4002 and Beocord 5000. Did you get the wonferful trumpet stands?

I would suggest that either a Beomaster 2200 with a Beogram 4002 would be a reasonable alternative, or a Beomaster 2400-2 and Beogram 4004 if you want the first remote control stereo system.

hey pa! (used to live in pa)

now i am an ex-yankee down in sc!

    have a pair of s60's and like peter -couldn't agree more! a bm4000 or 4400, a bg 400x, and a bc5000 or a bc2200 would be outstanding!

you have a great pair of speakers! enjoy them! the warmth w/ a good bm of the same era is special! -one of my all time fav's!

thank you for the info and yes the trumpet stands and hardware on the rear of the cabinets was complete as well, however i use them in an entertainment center that looks like it was made for them.

i actually am in need of a repair shop,  tweeters seem to crack at certain volume, and my woofers are in need of re coning as uv light has bleached them to a thin mache. amazing how great they do sound even after 30+ years.
