    BV-7 40 MkIII software

Does anyone have an overview of what is updated in the different software releases for BV7-40. Some kind of releasenotes or something from B&O?

In my case I am interested in what is new from my release 3.5 and up to the newest.

    /Mikael

Sw 4.2 will be released "soon" according to B&O. Maybe April....

Is there any word yet on a fix for the "white flash", or will I just give up asking, and pretend I don't see it anymore...

    Re: BV-7 40 MkIII software

I've had three versions of software in my 7-40 and haven't noticed any difference between them . Arrived with 3.5 ( 3 weeks ago ) and had it upgraded to the latest 4.12 , it then started to shut down about once or twice a day , they decided to go back a version to 4.00 to see if 4.12 was the problem but still does it , looks like they are going to replace the set . They did tell me the difference between 4.00 and 4.12 and can't remember what but nothing significant . I've always had the white flash with Blu-ray ( pencil thin line bottom left ) but only on the menu , never during the film . I wasn't to happy going backwards with the software but perhaps the new one will have 4.20 .

Hi, if you have sw 4.0 you can get rid of the white flashes, just doing the following:

Go in to the picture-meny and when you are looking at bluray-movies the "size" potentiometer is activeted. Put the potentiometer one step below maximum. This will zoom the picture a little, but you will not see any white flashes anymore.

    Re: BV-7 40 MkIII software

What do you think / hope the SW 4.2 24p will do/solve?

In other words; will I notice a difference with my BV7-40MK III ?
