    Where do I find the serial number on a pair of BL 8000? If behind the front cover, how do I remove it?

    Hi - and Welcome to BeoWorld!

    You will find the serial number underneath the little swinging catch where the power and powerlink leads plug in. It's on a greenish grey sticker.

    Can't think of any other forums with sharp shootin' answerers! 

    I wish Opus Energy, HSBC, Tiscali and BT tried to answer queries as fast as us.. Yes, i'm moaning about them - all have suffered my wrath today. Indifferent

    I've just ended a dispute with PowerplayDirect (in your neck of the woods actually, Moy Avenue, Eastbourne) who recently replaced my sons laptop under an insurance claim (he dropped it). I've been in dispute for a fortnight because they wanted to charge me £69 to return the original hard-drive - it was settled last night, they will now return it for £15, the cost of removal and shippingBig Smile

    If the guy I've dealt with for the last fortnight had one more brain cell he'd be a plant!
