Really low volume from Beocenter 9500

    Hi guys,

I have a weird probem with my recently purchased Beocenter 9500. It doesn't output any volume! If I crank the volume up to max, I can hear that it's working, but at normal levels there's just nothing there.Angry Any tips/ideas what might be wrong?

Am using it with my Beolab 4.

Which type of Beolab 4 do you have, the standard version with Powerlink or the PC version without ?

Also, since you had the unit has the volume ever worked correctly ?

    Regards Keith....

Under the flip up cover where the other sockets are. There should be a white blanking plug in the socket marked Line In/Out

Okey. And where do I get a replacement?   My local dealer or available elsewhere?

Your dealer may be able to help as parts are still available for the Beocenter 9300, whether or not this was fitted to this model I'm not sure though.

The 9300 didn't have this feature and the 9500 service manual does not give the part number!

You could obtain a 5 pin din plug and make one your self. Just connect pins 1-3 together and then pins 4-5. Alternatively you could just push some stiff wire into the correct holes in the socket!!

Hi, Well I talked to my dealer and they found the spare part! Big Smile
Now I'm enjoying it as it works like a charm!

    Thanks for all the help!

Now that's a result. These annoying little parts are sometimes impossible to find.
