BeoVision 9 linked to BeoVision 7 32"

If I have BeoVision 9 in one room and BeoVision 7 32 in another room and if they are connected via ML cable is it possible to record DVDs from BeoVision 7 32" to a built in HDR2 in BeoVision 9?
