Has anyone tried using the Beolink 7000 RDS with a Beosystem AV7000? I know the AV7000 recommends the Beolink 1000 but I would like to know what functions will not work if I use the Beolink 7000 with the AV7000. I also have an Beosound 2500 connected to the AV7000.

AV-7000 can not operate in 2-way mode, so the entire rationale for having the BeoLink 7000 gets rather lost.  If you just love the BL-7000 that much, then of course, you need to get one while you still can, they are lovely things.

Thanks Russ, that is what I suspected but wanted to confirm. Yes it is a beautiful controller but not worth the cost if not usable.
