    BeoLab 10

Do you think it could replace the 7-2 and work with my BV7-40? If this is an option it is one I would definitly take to achieve an AV9000 look.

    Re: BeoLab 10

I have asked the same question on this forum some time ago and the answer was that the BL10 would not fit the BV7, only BV4.

The kittens have sent a saucer of milk over to Gavin at STB Brackets to hopefully entice him to build a bracket adaptor.

    Re: BeoLab 10

If you look at BeoLab 10's user guide, you see it has the same sound settings as other BeoLabs, i.e "free" and "wall". The "free" setting is said to be "for future use", because BV4 is only wall-mounted: that clearly means that BeoLab 10 will be able to work with free-standing TVs, like BV7, because I don't see a 500 Kg BV10 in a free-standing mode..[:'(]

I've seen and listened to the BL10 and I was told it will be possible to fit this to a BV7. I had a look under the front cloth and It's only one speaker element (5-6") directly under the ALT-lens. (The BL 7-4 has two I think). About the sound, It was quite OK. The system was the new Full-HD BV4 with seven BL9!

    Ola,

Your avatar caught the kittens' attention. They hope he/she is friendly.

For clarification, the BeoLab 7-4 has one driver under the AL. The BeoLab 10 is identical in terms of electronics.

    Why where there 7 BL9 and a BL10? 6 BL9 and a BL10 as center makes better sense.

Update from B&O: I have been advised that the speaker will work with the BV7 and come with the relevent brackets. In dealers from March 27th onwards.

    Hi!

OK, they told me that the BL7-4 had two units under the ALT but they were obviously wrong. The lady who told me was from the Swedish HQ.

About the number of BV9, what I could remember there was one BL9 standing in the center back of the sofa, two "back" two surround and two front and then the BL10 and two BL2.

But as you say Daniel, it seems strange to have a center back?
