    Beosystem 3 HDCP

    I have a problem with Beosystems 3.
    A year ago I was doing an installation including two pieces of BS3, two HUMAX-2000 and two Gefen 1:8 HDMI Distribution Amplifiers.
    Switching of HDMI signals works properly since then.
    Now I am completing an instalation of three BS3s, tuner SAT Philips DSR-7201 HD Cyfra+, Samsung DSB370G Polsat, ADB ITI-8600 N platform Poland and three pieces of Gefen 1:8 distributors.
    During the switch of HDMI signals the picture is shown and after a few seconds it is covered with 'snow'.
    I tested it using firmware 2.6, 2.7 and 3.10a, symptoms are all the same.
    3.10 version includes ScreenInfo and shows that HDCP input and output are both OFF.
    Sometimes (rarely) the switching is done properly and the info shows that HDCP is ON (As Endpoint).
    Tommorow I'll get 4.01 firmware and check if it will solve the problem for me or if the problem is connected with HW.

    Are there any solutions for my problem?
    Does BS3 support HDCP properly?
    Thank you for all the information.

    Re: Beosystem 3 HDCP

    Are the HDMI devices connected directly to the Beosystem-3 or using the Gefen HDMI switcher? Some set top boxes have problem with HDMI and don't connect reliably using a switcher.

    Regards,

    Jean

    Re: Beosystem 3 HDCP

    All sat tuners connected to BS3 through Gefen

    sat.1->Gefen.1-> BS3.1 HDMI-A

    sat.2->Gefen.2-> BS3.1 HDMI-B

    sat.3->Gefen.3-> BS3.1 HDMI-C

    Firmware 4.12 no solve problem :((((

    !!

    Other TV works OK!!!!
